This Morning Outside

I was thinking just a little wistfully this frozen morning about the tropics, and balmy temps, and brilliant birds. Then a little flock of bluebirds and a couple of finches arrived at the birdbath.

Suddenly the Iowa winter landscape looked kind of pretty.
