This Morning Outside

Five days old, a nestling bluebird opens an eye and peeks. Its three siblings dream on.

The parents are working from dawn to dark bringing food for the rapidly growing babies. They come and pick up mealworms from the chair I'm sitting on and carry them to the birdhouse. How much fun is that!
