This Morning Outside

A Kentucky warbler was all excited this morning right outside my house. Feathers on top of head sticking up with some emotion. I was excited too, as it was the first Kentucky I've seen on my own land.

It was also the first migrant warbler of the fall. Interesting that the air felt different this morning, cooler and crisper, with a changed sound. Migration is underway.

This photo is not the same bird that I saw this morning, but it lets you see the yellow spectacles and the black diagonally below the eye.
