This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterSeptember 15, 2009 Cedar waxwings are suddenly evident. I don't know where they've been hiding all summer, but now that the woodland berries are ripening, the waxwings are here. They perch in bare elms, keeping an eye on things, watching the berries turn red.
Note the trademark yellow band at the end of the tail on the leftmost waxwing. |
