This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterNovember 26, 2016 An acquaintance I don't get to see nearly often enough shows up for a smidgen of suet. This Red-headed Woodpecker is perfectly comfortable hanging onto the wire bottom of the upside-down suet feeder, which is the only way to get at the food. P.S. Starlings, grackles, and blue jays don't have the right kind of toes for hanging on upside down, so they shun this feeder.
