Swarovski made a remarkable kit offer, which ended on June 30, 2008. We still have a few of the Swarovski kits left after the end of the sale. Swarovski has extended permission for us to continue offering them, but only while we have stock on hand. When we sell out each kit, we will not be able to obtain more at the special prices.

You can get a Swarovski HD angled scope, either 65mm or 80mm, with 20-60x zoom eyepiece, PLUS Swarovski's own excellent Tripod #2 with FH101 Head. These are the first two items on the chart below, which do not include the DCA.

Or you can get an entire digiscoping outfit, which includes the Swarovski DCA (Digital Camera Adapter), also at an unusually low price. These are the last two items on the chart below.

Tripod #2 (shown at right) extends to 62.3 inches, which is adequate for most people using an angled scope. (A tall person using a straight scope might be better off with Swarovski Tripod #1, which extends up to 74.8 inches.)

Tripod #2 has the excellent FH101 head, which is an admirably smooth-turning head. The Swarovski Tripod #2 is our best selling Swarovski tripod. (See description of Tripod #2.)

Digital Camera Adapter (DCA) is a lovely solution to the digiscoping challenge. The adapter screws into the threads in the housing of the camera lens. You can then drop the camera and attached DCA into your cargo pocket and go birding with your Swarovski scope. When you see something you want to photograph, you pull the combination out of your pocket and slip the open end of the adapter right over the eyepiece of the scope. No alignment problems. No fuss. You're ready to shoot!
