This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterJune 16, 2011 The unseasonably cold, wet spring took its toll on our bluebirds. I don't think any of the early nestings succeeded. But now success is in the air. This pair has honored the nest box in our front yard. And I happen to know that inside five baby bluebirds are clamoring to be fed. The parents diligently bring food. And they never leave the birdhouse unguarded. They watch it constantly. Photo copyright 2011 Michael and Diane Porter
