Meopta Meostar 8x32
Overall Score: 4.44
(0ut of possible 5.0)
The Meostar 8x32 is a remarkably good buy, with excellent (4.4) optical quality. It compares well with the top binoculars in the study, at less than half the price.
One of the slimmest and most compact binoculars tested, it fit exceptionally well in the hand. It has a unique and wonderful quality of transparency—it seems to disappear when you look through it, showing only the thinnest black circle around the image.
Pro: Great value. Excellent optical quality and ergonomic transparency; 420-foot field of view; works well with glasses.
Con: Focus knob slightly too stiff for some judges, but most found it fine.
